Two NLA Awards short-listings for 184 Shepherds Bush Road
ColladoCollins nominated in Conservation Retrofit and Office Buildings categories

184 Shepherds Bush Road has been shortlisted for two NLA Awards this year in both the Conservation Retrofit and Office Buildings categories. The awards celebrate the leading architecture, planning and development work in the capital.
We are extremely thrilled to be recognised for our work on this project which was a sensitive reimagining of an important local landmark. We restored the Grade II-listed former Ford Motor Company factory and showroom and transformed it into contemporary office space for the European headquarters of customer science company dunnhumby. The creation of a striking glazed roof provided an additional 50,000 sq ft of space and completed the building to the presence originally intended before the First World War halted its construction.
The success of the scheme is testament to the strong team behind the project. We worked closely with engineering and sustainability consultants Hilson Moran and client Westerland Real Estate to sustainably convert the building for future use.
We wish all of the shortlisted firms luck and look forward to the announcement of the results at the NLA Annual Launch at the Guildhall on Thursday 7 July 2016.
