PRS/Build to Rent Projects
ColladoCollins has embraced the opportunity to design for this significant, dynamic and creative sector that is redefining how people rent and live in our cities. Since the government backed drive towards investment in PRS in 2014 we have been working closely with clients both across large-scale projects in competitive regeneration areas to boutique buildings addressing a niche requirement for housing.
Each brief is different and we take the time to fully immerse ourselves in both our clients’ business models and the wider needs of the local environment, which vary across sites. We are design-led, but knowing the tenant is fundamental to our work. We understand the differences between renting and owning a property and that for many tenants, amenity provision and community is at the heart of this style of living.
Using our collaborative approach, we create robust, quality designs with innovative solutions that extract value for investors in PRS from complex and challenging sites. Our work to date has covered schemes which will transform previously industrial areas into desirable urban residences such as First Way in Wembley and Raynes Park in Merton.
As a thriving area of the residential sector, our aim for PRS is to provide high quality, collective, community focused and sustainable environments that contribute to the growing demand for housing across the capital and further afield.
