It’s hard to believe that two decades have passed since Roy Collado co-founded the practice in 2004, with a vision to create spaces that not only meet the demands of modern living, but also stand as a testament to thoughtful, sustainable design.

Reflecting on the journey, it’s clear that our success is rooted in the strength of our partnerships, the creativity of our team, and the trust our clients have placed in us. What began as a small practice has grown into a dynamic and influential firm, shaping communities with projects that push the boundaries of what’s possible. From the earliest days of modest commissions to now leading large-scale, mixed-use developments, every step has been a learning experience and a chance to refine our craft.

Roy’s leadership and passion have been instrumental in guiding the firm to where it is today. His commitment to fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation has attracted a team of like-minded professionals who share his dedication to excellence.

As ColladoCollins celebrates its 20th anniversary, we are excited to announce a significant new chapter in our journey: the transition to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). This decision marks a pivotal moment in the evolution of our practice, aligning with our commitment to fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and forward-thinking work environment.

Becoming an Employee Owned Trust reflects our belief that the success of ColladoCollins is built on the collective efforts of our talented team. By transitioning to an EOT, we are ensuring that everyone within the firm has a stake in its future, empowering our employees to contribute more directly to the growth and success of the practice. This shift not only honors the legacy of our founding partner, Roy Collado, but also reinforces our dedication to a culture where every voice is heard, and every team member is valued.
