Hanborough Manor Church of England Primary School is located in the village of Long Hanborough in West Oxfordshire. The school requires expanding from a single form entry to a 1.5 form entry in order to provide spaces for 315 pupils aged 4 to 11 years old. As part of the proposal there is consideration of future expansion to 2 form entry.
The proposal includes a new build teaching block featuring five classrooms for reception, key stage 1 and key stage 2 classes. These classrooms have been designed to be flexible and easy to modify in the future, allowing for further growth of the school.
To expand, the school has acquired additional land to relocate the school’s hard play provision, facilitating the construction of the new teaching block on the existing hard play area, and creating additional playing field space.
