Following the completion of our transition to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) the Board and Trustees at CoCo took the strategic decision to search for a new leadership team member to expand the practice’s service offer into new sectors. In September we welcomed Toby Neilson as a new Director of the practice alongside incumbents Tony Combes and Dominic Hailey.

Toby’s track record in the office and workplace sector brings a new branch of expertise to our practice, which has long he a strong reputation for design and delivery in the Living sectors. With renewed energy, all of the team are excited to be shaping the business as an EOT where everyone is a stakeholder, and we share a common aim.

A quote from our Director Dominic Hailey: “Since its formation 22 years ago, CoCo has delivered developments for a wide variety of clients and established a reputation for excellence in both design and delivery. Since completing the transfer to an Employee Ownership Trust in 2025 the leadership team has been planning a strategic appointment to support their long-term plans for growth.

Toby’s leadership skills, the strength of his network and wealth of experience across multiple sectors will support this ambition and add further depth to the practice. Alongside the current director team, we are excited about what we will achieve together.”

Toby Neilson, our new Director said: “CoCo is a dynamic practice with a strong legacy. It puts its clients at the heart of the business, helping them to navigate the issues and challenges facing the real estate market today. I am excited by the opportunity to be part of a forward-looking leadership team whose plans for the future align with my own ambitions, and bring the benefit of my experience to contribute to the practice’s success.”
