This Integrated Retirement Community for longstanding client Elysian
Residences contains a mix of two-storey, two-bedroom cottages and an
apartment building of three interlinked blocks which also contains the
communal amenities for the scheme. Based on a consent achieved by others,
our brief was to optimise the scheme and make amendments to elevation
treatment and overall design through a Section 73 application and take the
project through construction to completion.

The site, formerly part of the adjacent Garden Centre, sits behind a listed manor
house and is lined on two sides by woodland. Within the 3.5 hectare site
boundary, the landscape-led proposals place 80 apartments and 44 cottages
amongst wildflower meadows, tree-lined streets, and open grassy areas for
recreation.

Throughout the process of site clearance, enabling works, and construction
under a Major Works contract CoCo prepared detailed designs and provided
on-site support to the client and main contractor to ensure this vibrant
retirement scheme was delivered on time and on budget.
