Some fantastic news to end the week with our Tooting Police Station heritage-led scheme, achieving planning and listed building consent, granted by LB Merton.
Constructed in 1939, the Grade II Listed Police Station had to be approached with sensitivity and respect, due to it’s local history and heritage.
The scheme by Telereal Trillium, plans to sympathetically restore and repurpose the Police Station through new vertical circulation and extensions within the courtyard and roof, delivering 62 high quality and sustainable new homes. The scheme also importantly provides new social infrastructure with a large ground floor community space and exterior landscaping.
A thanks to our Heritage and Planning consultants, Turley, and the rest of the project team for the collaborative effort and brilliant result.
